Summer is long gone and fall Seems to be turning into winter rather quickly.

We have had people calling and emailing  us asking for tips on transitioning their skin care regimen as the weather changes.

One thing we can say about Tahur Essentials, is that they are all weather excellence.  Every product is formulated to deal with hot and cold weather, sunshine, rain, and snow.

One thing we have suggested however, is don't overdo the caffeinated beverages just because its cold outside. Caffeine naturally dehydrates, which can exuberate dry skin conditions.

Drink herbal teas instead. If you do find yourself needing a caffeine boost, try matcha tea.

Matcha tea Is packed with antioxidants including the powerful EGCg.  It Boosts metabolism and burns calories.  Matcha tea is an effective and natural detoxifier that helps prevent disease, lowers blood sugar, and cholesterol.   Matcha tea also calms the mind, relaxes the body, and is a natural mood enhancer.

In addition, Matcha tea Is rich in fiber, chlorophyll, minerals and vitamins, such as vitamin C, selenium, chromium, zinc and magnesium.  One cup of matcha tea delivers the nutritional equivalent of ten cups of regular green tea.

Never forget golden milk. This ancient healer is such a lovely and satisfying drink, that is full of the anti oxidant and anti inflammatory goodness of turmeric.

Historically, turmeric has been used for the treatment of liver disease, skin problems, respiratory and gastrointestinal ailments, sprained muscles, joint pains and arthritis, inflammation, and wound healing.

Curcumin, found in turmeric , is a bioactive chemical with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Research has proven that turmeric and curcumin have the ability to help improve memory, reduce free radical damage to cells and tissues, reduce symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, as well as numerous other inflammatory joint conditions.

Turmeric has also shown an ability to Support healthy cholesterol levels and prevent low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol oxidation, Improve liver function, protect against heavy metal damage, inhibit and prevent certain types of cancer, including pancreatic, breast, and colon cancer, and reduce the degenerative symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
